Art is a lot of things. It is a branch of a personal imagination such as painting, writing, photography, film and more. Art is used to make the viewer think. My inspiration for my project- Change the world in 5 days was Jane Peet. A lot of people don't know Jane Peet! But I have had the honor of knowing her as long as I can remember. Jane was the one that helped be develop my love for photography and grow into the person I am now. Jane, on top of her job, loves to explore derelict buildings and documenting what she see. She believes that she shouldn't disturb the areas she takes photos of to allow others to enjoy the area as she has. Her motto being 'take only photos, leave only footprints.' |

![]() In the film, set in 2169, people are born with a digital clock on their arm. When people reach 25, they stop aging and their clock starts to count down and once it reaches 00:00 they "time out" and pass away. You as an audience quickly realize that time is used as currency; it is how the people pay for their daily expenses and can be passed between people and a container. In poor “time zones,” the people are always running about in a hurry; in the rich sectors, the rich relax and gamble away spare decades. The films hidden meaning is that rich people are bad and the system is rigged. This is shown by the main character Will (Justin Timberlake) who lives in the working class homing and works at in the industrial industry, defying the system after his mother pass away and robbing banks and collecting time. The rich people in the film, In Time would never think of sitting around “occupying” Wall Street or anything else in their world, time is literally money, and most people seem to be within a day or so of running out, which results in their death. If you take the hidden meaning away from the storyline, you are left with a Si-fi action movie, which contains arm-wrestles and lots of running. The film is almost free of special-effects trying to make the film more relatable which means there was fancy cars and big house for the rich and buses for the poor. When I was told that the project we were being set was going to be to save the world in 5 days, I had a little freak out. No one can change the world in 5 days.... especially not me! But after a lot of thinking, I remembered that as a group we are always being told there is never a wrong answer, I decided that I couldn't change the world in 5 days but I could change my cousin Ellie's world for 5 days by just making her smile. Ellie on a normal day will go to school, go home, watch some telly, eat her tea and then go to bed. But to day, he day was a little different. Today after she finished school, instead of sitting and watching her TV programs such as "My Little Pony" she put on her shoes. I took Ellie to the one of the town allotments to show her what people do in their spare time such as keep chickens and grow flowers and vegetables. She loved the chickens and loved the park even more.... It just shows, being nice and making one person smile changes someone else world if only for a little while. My inspiration from this is one of Penrith's unknown Photographers, Jane Peet who uses her photograph to show people what we have done to the world through her photographs of abandon buildings. Recording is the process of capturing data or
translating information to a recording format stored on some storage medium, which is often referred to as a record or, especially if an auditory or visual medium, a recording. [1] In My experience The day we learnt about recording we had Craig. At first Craig told us a bit about himself then introduced the Tascam that we would be using through out the course to record audio. He quickly should us what it and how it work. After a quick demenstation, he showed us the equitment that is used with the Tascam and how to use them such as - - settings - How to hold the boom pole - shot gun microphones - Location scouting We then spilt up into groups and went out to see where was the best place in college. We find a few places with good acoustics such as the textiles room, the tv studio and the musics recording studio. We had half an hour to find the places. We had to clap and see if it echo. Once the time was up we returned to the mac lab like the rest of the groups. We reviewed everyone favorite places. My group choose the Tv Studio, where we had to record and audio to promote the new Iphone 6 and Iphone 6s. We had a couple problems problem with the wording but where able to complete the task. |
